My name is Oleksii, and this blog is all about tracking moods with the easiest and most accessible way possible now – mobile apps.

As a user, I found it difficult to navigate through different options as a Google search for “mood tracking app” leads to many old articles with the links to some outdated apps. What’s even worse, it seems that at least some of the pages are just commercial advertising articles and nothing more.

As a developer, I’d like to make sure there is a place where I can share my work in this direction when (and if:)) it’s ready.

That’s why I created this website and will do two things:

  1. Write fair and actual for today (it’s 2025 and not 2022!) state of the mood tracking apps.
  2. Share my progress towards building my own one, which won’t be definitely the best overall, but I hope will be good and useful for some people.

That’s it and nothing more!

Important note: I know that some people with mental health issues find such apps useful as well. As I’m not a medical specialist and have a fortunate privilege to not have similar problems myself, I cannot give any recommendations for such cases. I’m sharing mood tracking for casual use cases such as mine.
